ZOD practicing municipality declared


GENERAL SANTOS CITY (March 30, 2015) – Malungon Mayor Reynaldo Constantino receives Resolution No.2015-8-035 declaring Malungon as the first Zero Open Defecation (100% Access to Sanitary Toilet) Practicing Municipality in the Province of Sarangani during the Municipal Health and Sanitation Summit Year-2 at Green Leaf Hotel on March 26-27. The resolution was presented by Governor Steve Chiongbian Solon and Board Member Elmer de Peralta, chairman of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan Committee on Health. The municipal health summit was conducted in partnership with Malungon-LGU, World Bank - Water and Sanitation Program (WSP), Sagittarius Mines, Inc., Save the Children, Provincial Health Office, Provincial Governor’s Office and Vice Governor’s Office. Vice Mayor tells youth: avoid drugs


KIAMBA, Sarangani (March 31, 2015) – Vice Mayor Bogi Martinez challenges the youth of Kiamba to seriously concentrate on sports events and avoid vices specially prohibited drugs. The vice mayor also expressed his gratitude to Congressman Manny Pacquiao, Governor Steve Chiongbian Solon and Vice Governor Jinkee Pacquiao for funding the Inter-Barangay Basketball Tournament. KIAMBA, Sarangani (March 31, 2015) – The Inter-Barangay Basketball Tournament opens Saturday, March 28, at Kiamba Gym with 48 teams for two categories: the 10 years old to 14 years old  category and 15 years old to 18 years old category. Sarangani hosts PGAWC
