Sarangani’s The Capitol Residences opens doors for first batch of houseowners

ALABEL, Sarangani (January 24, 2012) - Governor Migs Dominguez and Atty. Darlene Marie Berberabe, chief executive officer of Home Development Mutual Fund, cut the ceremonial ribbon for the turnover of the first batch of houses at The Capitol Residences to its beneficiaries Tuesday, January 24. It marks the first time that a local government unit engages in PPP (private public partnership) housing development project in Mindanao and maybe the whole Philippines. This housing project by the provincial government is the translation of commitments of the incumbent leaders by providing medium grade but affordable housing facilities with the objective to improve performance and productivity from government employees. Also in photo are (from R-L) chief-of-staff of the governor Pio Justo Velasco; Benirando Claudio, president/CEO of Sarangani Land and Property Corporation; Atty. Wendel Avisado, deputy secretary general of Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council; Congressional Office chief-of-staff Bren Evangelio and Mayor Corazon Grafilo.
