MAITUM, Sarangani (February 1, 2012) - Mayor Elsie Perrett thanks Taguig City Mayor Ma. Laarni Cayetano for going out of her way to reach Maitum for the signing of the memorandum-of-agreement (MOA) January 27 on mutual assistance and cooperation. The MOA states among other things that there will be an active exchange of experiences, best practices, and resources in good governance particularly in the field of tourism, education, commerce/trade and industry, environmental protection, public health, and social services. The MOA, Perrett said, is a sign of Mayor Cayetano's sincerity to help other LGUs like Maitum.
