5K Fun Run for Environment opens Binuyugan Festival

MAITUM, Sarangani (May 4, 2012) – Fun run finishers pose in front of the Maitum Municipal Hall after coming back from the finish line during the 5K Fun Run for the Environment organized by the Maitum Advocates for Sustainable Environment (MASE), KABALIKAT, and the municipal government as the opening salvo of the 13th Binuyugan Festival Thursday, May 3. Right after they reached the finish line in Pangi Bridge, the 230 participants planted Molave seedlings along the riparian zone of Pangi River.
