Village gets footbridge, other projects for peace



MAASIM, Sarangani (May 30, 2014) - A footbridge costing P740,000 is turned over to barangay Nomoh Friday, May 30. The footbridge will benefit hundreds of residents in transporting their agricultural products. This is a joint project of PAMANA (Payapa at Masaganang Pamayanan), OPPAP (Office of the Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process), Department of Interior and Local Government, and municipal and the provincial government of Sarangani. This is part of Sulong Kapayapaan under the Sulong Sarangani Program with the support of Vice Governor Jinkee Pacquiao and Rep. Manny Pacquiao. There were five projects turned over including the community peace centre, training centre and two solar dryers. (Kim Windell Tiblani/PROVINCIAL GOVERNOR’S OFFICE)
