MAITUM, Sarangani (June 2, 2015) - Lovely Joy Hallegado, Sultan Kudarat Rescue Team (SKRT) president, receives a certificate of appreciation for leading her team in sharing their proficiency in Water Search and Rescue (WASAR) to 30 trainees in Maitum during the WASAR training. The trainees were from the Philippine National Police, Armed Forces of the Philippines, local government employees, Kabalikat Civicom members, and some residents. The training aims to recognize, evaluate, and enhance skills in water search and rescue. It was headed by Municipal Local Government Operations Officer Jamie Balanag in cooperation with the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, and the Local Government Unit of Maitum.
