ALABEL, Sarangani (February 7, 2013) – Governor Migs Dominguez (left) together with executives from Philippine Veterans Bank headed by Miguel Angelo Villareal (2nd right), vice president of Veterans Bank and corporate communications head, lead the ceremonial ribbon cutting of “War of our Fathers” photo exhibit Monday, February 4. Vice Governor Steve Chiongbian Solon (3rd right) and Sangguniang Panlalawigan members Hermie Galzote (center) and Virgilio Clark Tobias (2nd left) witnessed the event at the Capitol. “War of our Fathers” features numerous World War II photographs, artifacts, maps, memorabilia and video that pay tribute to the patriotism and bravery of Filipino Veterans during the war. This exhibit also aims to teach young people about freedom and love of country. The Philippine Veterans Bank World War II Travelling Exhibit is a joint project with the Department of Education and the Veterans Federation of the Philippines.
