GLAN, Sarangani (October 5, 2014) – Notre Dame of Glan students perform their entry to the Sayaw sa Bagol open interpretation competition Friday, October 3. Sayaw sa Bagol is popularly known as Maglalatik, an indigenous dance in the Philippines in which four or six more coconut shell halves are secured onto the dancers' hands and on vests. This dance is said to be a war dance depicting a fight between the Moro and the Christians over the latik, a residue left after the coconut milk has been boiled.
