SARANGANI BAY (May 11, 2015) – Bohol-based lawyer Ingemar Macarine battles strong currents Sunday, May 10, in the first-ever solo swim of Sarangani Bay from Maasim to Sumbang Point (background). Macarine covered a distance of 12.95 kilometers in 5:55 hours. It was one of his most difficult swims. Strong currents kept pulling him off course so he had to change direction more than 16 times.
