MAITUM, Sarangani (February 15, 2013) - Dakeol Falls, with a drop of about 100 meters, is the town's newest eco-tourism destination. This waterfalls lies at the heart of the last existing rainforest of the province deep into the jungles of Maitum. However, the priceless flora and fauna of the area is being threatened by the incursion of illegal logging and illegal mining activities into the rainforest.
