MAITUM, Sarangani (August 4, 2015) - Engr. Nenita Barroso, trade and industry provincial director, orients some 300 participants about the Promotion of Green Economic Development (ProGED) during the SME Roving Academy (SMERA) at the JLC Hall on July 30. ProGED Project is a joint undertaking of the Department of Trade and Industry-Regional Operations Group and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH. The program aims to enhance the competitiveness of micro, small, and medium enterprises by helping them adopt climate-smart and environment-friendly strategies by using the value chain approach.
