MALAPATAN, Sarangani (August 27, 2015) - After three months of detention in Tahuna, Indonesia, 20 fishermen from Malapatan finally found comfort as they were successfully brought back to their town through the efforts of the Department of Foreign Affairs, Bureau of Immigration, Philippine Navy, Coast Guard and the provincial government of Sarangani. After personally receiving the repatriates, Governor Steve Solon talked to them so as to address their concerns with regards to improving their livelihood for them not to risk their lives anymore just to find money in foreign territories.
