MAITUM, Sarangani (July 31, 2014) - Alma Billones, a parent from Perrett Central Elementary School in Barangay Kalaong, lends her time beautifying the school in preparation for the validation day on July 30 for the Brigada Eskwela national competition. Perrett Central Elementary School is one of the national finalists as regional entry in Brigada Eskwela 2014 under the small school category of the Department of Education, representing the only entry from Sarangani Province. This entry to the national level manifests the collaborative efforts and full support of the parents, teachers, students, local officials and private sector to bring and ensure the future of the children, better classrooms and quality education. Governor Steve Chiongbian Solon and the rest of the provincial officials thru the Sulong Karunungan component of the Sulong Sarangani flagship program have extended assistance to the school.
