GENERAL SANTOS CITY (March 30, 2015) – Malungon Mayor Reynaldo Constantino receives Resolution No.2015-8-035 declaring Malungon as the first Zero Open Defecation (100% Access to Sanitary Toilet) Practicing Municipality in the Province of Sarangani during the Municipal Health and Sanitation Summit Year-2 at Green Leaf Hotel on March 26-27. The resolution was presented by Governor Steve Chiongbian Solon and Board Member Elmer de Peralta, chairman of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan Committee on Health. The municipal health summit was conducted in partnership with Malungon-LGU, World Bank - Water and Sanitation Program (WSP), Sagittarius Mines, Inc., Save the Children, Provincial Health Office, Provincial Governor’s Office and Vice Governor’s Office.
