ALABEL, Sarangani (June 27, 2011) – Students from Alabel Regional Science High School and members of the Junior Ecology Movement join the tree planting initiated by the provincial government of Sarangani through the Riverbank Rehabilitation Project to celebrate Philippine Environment Month at Maribulan village Monday, June 27. More than 600 hills of mahogany, acacia and langka were planted along the riverside participated in by employees of different agencies of the local government of Sarangani, Philippine National Police, Bureau of Fire Protection, Conrado and Ladislawa Alcantara Foundation, Department of Environment and Natural Resources, barangay officials, and mountaineers.
