MAASIM, Sarangani (August 24, 2014) - Governor Steve Chiongbian Solon checks out the paragliding landing pad in SAFII Ranch Paragliding Site at sitio Seguil, Barangay Tinoto during the first day of the International Paragliding Accuracy Competition Friday, August 22. Sarangani Province was chosen as the location of this first international paragliding competition because of its great tropical thermals with a good landing plate, typical sea breeze, smooth sled rides, flying along the 5km ridge, and has a good weather condition of almost 300 flyable days in a year.
