MAITUM, Sarangani (July 3, 2014) - Gov. Steve Chiongbian Solon helps in distributing treated fabrics, mosquito nets and other giveaways to the newly-accredited Barangay Health Workers in Maitum Tuesday, July 1, during the kick-off activity of Filariasis Mass Drug Administration: "Filariasis ay Sugpuin, Gamot ay Inumin". Gov.Solon encouraged them to continue schooling and join trainings for their skills enhancement and render better health service in their respective barangays. The activity which aims to eliminate and prevent the spread of Filariasis in Sarangani was headed by the Provincial Health Office and the Local Government Unit of Maitum.
