In honor of Sec. Robredo

ALABEL, Sarangani (August 28, 2012) – The people and officials of Sarangani join the nation in mourning and at the same time showing respect to the late DILG Secretary Jesse Robredo who died in a plane crash on August 20 in Masbate. In 2007, through Synergiea Foundation, Robredo introduced to Sarangani education reform programs which resulted to Sarangani today being a model in the entire country following the Naga model. Before the education agenda with Department of Education and QUEST (Quality Education for Sarangani Today) formulated from the shared experiences of the late Secretary and then Mayor of Naga in improving the education program in his city, children in Sarangani could only answer four correct answers in English and Math out of 10 questions asked.
