Consultant looks at Maitum’s best practices

MAITUM, Sarangani (May 9, 2014) - Mayor Pepito Catimbang (right) and Dr. Junie Basmillo brief Dr. Rapuli Sisir Banu on how the GYY Maternity Home has evolved into a primer mother and child center, while nurse Rachel Bustria of the Provincial Health Office listens. Dr. Banu, who is consultant of the World Health Organization, visited the Maitum Health Center and GYY Maternity Home on May 5 with the hope of replicating Maitum's good practices on mother and child care especially in Muslim communities in North Cotabato and in Bangladesh.
