Swim-Across-the-Bay opens #sarbayfest2014

SARANGANI BAY (May 17, 2014) - The Swim-Across-the-Bay Competition, Sarangani Bay Festival’s most grueling race, tests the strength and endurance of the 15-kilometer relay swimmers as #sarbayfest2014 opens Friday, May 16. The race started in Kamanga, Maasim and finished in Tango, Glan. The Dadiangas Torpedoes, a team of five swimmers and students of the University of the Philippines in Diliman, won the competition with a clocking of 3:36:46. Other winners are the first-timer Aqua Valley Gliders of Koronadal City (3:53:57) and the Kidapawan Team (4:00:46). The winners received P50,000, P35,000 and P25,000, respectively.
