MAITUM, Sarangani (May 9, 2014) - Rosie Roxas (standing right), Rural Health Unit midwife, briefs Dr. Rapuli Sisir Banu (center) on the mother and child situation in Maitum. Roxas explained how the GYY Maternity Home is operated. Dr. Banu, who is consultant of the World Health Organization, visited the Maitum Health Center and GYY Maternity Home on May 5 with the hope of replicating Maitum's good practices on mother and child care especially in Muslim communities in North Cotabato and in Bangladesh.
