ALABEL, Sarangani (November 17, 2014) – The Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) with Vice Gov. Jinkee Pacquiao unanimously approves thru Board Member Atty. Cyril Yap, chairman of the Local Enactment Committee, the strong endorsement of the Sarangani Provincial Government headed by Gov. Steve Chiongbian Solon and Cong. Manny Pacquiao for the creation of Barangay Malandag as a separate town of the province on Tuesday, November 11, during their regular session. The 12 barangay councils as the proposed component barangays of Malandag, namely Malandag, Datal Batong, Datal Bila, Bo. Blaan, Alkikan, Kibala, Malabod, Kiblat, Datal Tampal, Atlae, Banahaw and Nagpan, have submitted their respective barangay resolutions manifesting their full support. (PROVINCIAL GOVERNOR’S OFFICE)
