MALUNGON, Sarangani (June 16, 2014) - Gov. Steve Chiongbian Solon meets volunteers who attended the Integrated Barangay Defense Force (IBDF) Training closing program in far-flung barangay Panamin on Friday, June 13. "You play a big and important role in your community, being the first responders in times of natural and man-made calamities,” the governor told them, and gave emphasis to the importance of volunteerism in the development of the community. The government of Sarangani will also give livelihood, intelligence, and agricultural training in the coming years to barangay Panamin. IBDF falls under Sulong Kaligtasan of Sulong Sarangani Program.
