KIAMBA, Sarangani (August 11, 2014) - Gov. Steve Chiongbian Solon receives a certificate of appreciation from Department of Education Regional Director Allan Farnazo during the DepEd’s 6th Regional Management Committee meeting on August 6 at James L. Chiongbian Trade School in Barangay Kling. Under the Sulong Karunungan component of the Sulong Sarangani flagship program is to improve the state of education in the province with Gov. Solon’s Commission on Education in partnership with Cong. Manny Pacquiao, Vice Gov. Jinkee Pacquiao, and the board members. Gov. Solon emphasized the role of DepEd in achieving quality education with the local governments as partners. He thanked DepEd for choosing Kiamba as the venue of their Regional Mancom.
