GENERAL SANTOS CITY (August 16, 2014) - Gov. Steve Chiongbian Solon signs the deed of sale for the 1,000 sq. m. lot acquired by the province for the barangay site of Barangay Ladol in Alabel together with Ladol barangay captain Wilfredo Suizo (left), provincial legal officer Atty. Chalmer Gevieso (2nd from left) and the land owners Mr. and Mrs. Virgilio Quiambao on Thursday, August 14. The DPWH Sarangani district has set a deadline so that the P2 million worth of barangay hall of Ladol, which is funded under the General Appropriations Act CY 2014 of DPWH facilitated by Congressman Manny Pacquiao, will be erected the soonest. The lot will be eventually turned over to the barangay thru a deed of donation. The municipal government headed by Mayor Corazon Grafilo and the Poblacion Barangay Council are also helping Ladol being a new barangay created by a provincial ordinance. Gov. Solon was authorized by the Sangguniang Panlalawigan to enter into said deed of sale and the budget for the lot acquisition in a special session held on Wednesday, August 13. (Kim Windell V.
