ALABEL, Sarangani (August 11, 2014) - Gov. Steve Chiongbian Solon greets DepEd officials and teachers of Sarangani during the 21st DepEd Sarangani Foundation Anniversary on August 8 at the Capitol Gym with the theme: "Sulong Sarangan, Sulong Karunungan: Edugaling tungo sa Edukalidad." Gov. Solon is glad that Sarangani recently ranked number 1 in Region 12 for the National Achievement Test (NAT) as announced by DepEd Sarangani schools division superintendent Isagani dela Cruz during the anniversary program in his State of the Division Address. This manifests the hardship primarily offered by DepEd to its students. Gov. Solon laid down his 8-point education agenda during the program, and emphasized that the provincial government is at the partnership role supporting the initiatives of DepEd Sarangani.
