KIAMBA, Sarangani (August 11, 2014) - Gov. Steve Chiongbian Solon and Mayor Raul Martinez share light moments with Regional Director Allan Farnazo during the 6th Regional Management Committee (ManCom) meeting of the Department of Education (DepEd) XII on August 6 at James L. Chiongbian Trade School in Barangay Kling. The regional ManCom was attended by all schools division superintendents and assistant schools division superintendents in the whole Region 12, division chiefs in the regional office and the regional ManCom secretariat. Gov. Solon emphasized that “in Sarangani, we are working in partnership with DepEd, and not moving ahead with its programs” stressing the role of local government units as partner of DepEd, not as rivals, in achieving quality education.
