KIAMBA, Sarangani (December 9, 2014)- A door opens to more or less 60 families in barangay Kling as a Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) processing plant will be put up in the town. Farmers, fishermen and some women will be provided with jobs. This is the first VCO plant in SocSKSarGen according to the Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA). Governor Steve Chiongbian Solon; Gina Lopez, chairman of ABS-CBN Lingkod Kapamilya Foundation, Inc.; and Tommy Jallos, OIC regional manager of PCA led the ground breaking ceremony at the area on December 4. Solon challenged the constituents to make this project a successful one.
