Hot meals for Sarangani Big Brother classmates

ALABEL, Sarangani (April 23, 2012) - Kids take their hot meals prepared by parents at the break time of “Sarangani Big Brother: Reading is Fun!” Monday, April 23, at Kawas Central Elementary School. SBB is a 15-day summer reading program of the provincial government implemented by Quality Education for Sarangani Today (QUEST) and Alcantara Foundation that aims to reduce if not eliminate "frustration readers" of incoming Grade 2 and 3 learners of identified elementary schools in Sarangani. “Frustration readers” are those who can identify words but have inadequate or no comprehension at all.
