MAITUM, Sarangani (November 9, 2012) - Barangay Captain Bello Valdez (2nd from the left) of barangay Old Poblacion commits to provide some of the project needs listed by parents, students, and barangay council members during their workshop on how to develop education reform in their barangay in line with the barangay education summit Monday, November 5. The education summit is a program conducted by the Quality Education for Sarangani Today (QUEST), one of the programs of Governor Migs Dominguez, to help provide quality education for Sarangani children. The event which aims to unite barangay council, parents, students, teachers, and the local government unit help each other to bring about quality education is dubbed KKK (Karunungan Kontra Kahirapan). The event was participated in by over 300 pupils, parents, teachers, barangay officials, LGU staff and QUEST staff.
