ALABEL, Sarangani (July 11, 2013) - Governor Steve Chiongbian Solon speaks before 125 Madaris facilitators or teachers of Madrasah in Sarangani during the Madaris facilitators’ orientation and ceremonial contract-signing Thursday, July 11, at Kasfala Hall, Capitol compound. The Madaris facilitators provide and supervise values education to young Muslims, contributing to the development of responsible citizen, God-fearing and peace loving leaders. Annually, an average of 3,000 young Muslims enroll in Madaris which holds classes every weekend.
