donated 750 corrugated sheets to refurbish houses and shanties

The municipal government of Glan confirmed there were also Indonesian

Acting consul general of Indonesia, Sukarno, said “disaster can occur
anytime and it becomes compulsory” for them to extend help. The
Indonesian official delivered the roofing sheets on June 27.
Glan Mayor Victor James Yap Sr. was grateful the Republic of Indonesia
was not only concerned with the needs of their people but with
Filipinos as well.

“Rest assured, I will take care of your people here in Glan. I hope
this will be the beginning of goodwill for peace and development,” Yap
told Sukarno. (Beverly Paoyon/SARANGANI INFORMATION OFFICE)
