KALAHI-CIDSS breaks ground for new school building
MAITUM, Sarangani (June 20, 2012) - West District acting principal Argilio Arago, KALAHI CIDSS deputy area coordinator Ederlyn Samulda, and Barangay Captain Fredemin Wanan lead the groundbreaking ceremony of the three-classroom elementary school building at Ticulab Elementary School Tuesday, June 19. The project which has a total cost of P1,830,000 is one of the projects under the DSWD through Kapit-Bisig Laban sa Kahirapan - Comprehensive and Integrated Delivery of Social Services - Kapangyarihan at Kaunlaran sa Barangay (KALAHI-CIDSS:KKB). The DSWD is now working to expand its KALAHI-CIDSS projects to cover 8,000 barangays in 334 municipalities nationwide to extend the benefits of the program to more people.
