Sarangani Big Brother honors 5-year partner Alcantara Foundation

MALUNGON, Sarangani (May 30, 2012) – From left, Board Member Eleanor Saguiguit and Governor Migs Dominguez award the plaque honoring Alcantara Foundation (AF) as “Sarangani Big Brother (SBB): Reading is Fun!” non-government organization partner from Season 1 to Season 5. The award was received by the AF staff during the first day of a two-day provincial culmination program of SBB Wednesday, May 30, at the Malandag gymnasium. Over the past five years, Sarangani Big Brother has taught 27,098 pupils involving 1,263 teachers and 3,759 volunteers in the reading program done every summer throughout the province.
