MAITUM, Sarangani (August 14, 2012) - Mayor Elsie Perrett and agriculturist Renato Fantone turnover one of the 76 bags of inbred rice seeds intended for 10 irrigator association beneficiaries in Maitum Monday, August 13. The rice seeds distributed by the National Irrigation Administration (NIA) are to be planted in the communal irrigation system areas of Pangi right, Zion-Sison, Maguling-Luan, Tarucao-Lanao, Lumotan, Kalaong, Malalag-Kiayap, Pinol, Teneb, and Mindupok. Mayor Perrett thanked PhilRice and NIA for supplying the rice seeds.
