From hunter to teacher

MALUNGON, Sarangani (July 19, 2012) – Wearing the traditional garb of his tribe, Roger Bago prepares to hunt for fun in this 2008 file photo taken in his village of Lamlifew. Today, Bago, 36, is on his 4th year college as Bachelor of Elementary Education student at the extension campus of Mindanao State University in barangay Malandag. He is a recipient of a scholarship program of Governor Migs Dominguez for the poorest of the poor among the indigenous people deserving students.
