Salamat Mayor

MAITUM, Sarangani (August 17, 2012) - Grade 1 pupils and their adviser Emely Notario flash the "thumbs up" sign as they shout "Salamat Mayor" for giving them sets of school supplies for free at barangay New La Union Wednesday, August 15. The distribution of school supplies is a yearly project of the mayor under the program "Angat Batang Maitum" in support to children's education. The "Angat Batang Maitum" program was initiated by the late Mayor George Y. Yabes in 2004. There were a total of 90 sets of school supplies distributed to every Grade 1 pupil of Kipalkuda Elementary School. For more news and updates, please visit the Province of Sarangani .
