ALABEL, Sarangani (September 11, 2013) - Shiela Marie Canonayon, 24, and her brother, Benjie More, 21, were born with osteogenesis imperfecta, a congenital bone disorder characterized by brittle bones that are prone to fracture. Both were blessed to benefit from free therapy session during the World Physical Therapy Day on September 8. They were among the 40 patients who will get intermediate wheelchairs to help them with physical abilities. This was a collaborative effort of the Provincial Government of Sarangani, Physicians for Peace and Rehabilitation Department of St. Elizabeth Hospital, Socsargen County Hospital and General Santos Doctors’ Hospital.
