Malacañang declares Nov. 28 as special (non-working) day in Sarangani

 

ALABEL, Sarangani (November 25, 2013) – Malacañang has declared November 28, 2013 a special (non-working) day in Sarangani in commemoration of the province’s 21^st Foundation Day anniversary and 11^th MunaTo Festival from November 27 to December 6.

 

Executive Secretary Paquito Ochoa Jr. signed the proclamation dated November 12 by the authority of President Benigno Aquino III.

 

Proclamation No. 683 said “it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Province of Sarangani be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.”

 

Governor Steve Chiongbian Solon has issued a memorandum for Capitol employees and he invited the public to “attend the Opening Program on November 28, 2013 at 4:00 o’clock in the afternoon at the Provincial Capitol grounds.” (SARANGANI INFORMATION OFFICE)
