GENERAL SANTOS CITY (December 8, 2013) – The Provincial Local Government Unit (PLGU) of Sarangani is over-all champion with a P0.5 million cash prize at the 1st SarGen Sportsfest 2013 of Congressman Manny Pacquiao during the culmination and awarding program held at Veranza Mall Saturday, December 7. The sportsfest which ran from December 3 to 7 was held at Pacman Beach Resort in Tinoto, Maasim. Other teams that received a P100,000 consolation prize each were the municipal local government units of Glan, Malapatan, Alabel, Malungon, Maasim, Kiamba, Maitum, and local government unit of General Santos City and General Santos City Liga ng Barangay.(Jake T.
