Kiamba takes pride in abaca products

KIAMBA, Sarangani (November 29, 2013) - Abaca, the main product of Kiamba, is highlighted in this booth. Various abaca materials, both raw and finished products, are seen inside and outside its booth. Products that include hats, bags, ropes, Christmas decors, clothing and others just speak of what Kiamba takes pride into. This and six other municipal booths are part of competitions in this year’s Fabli Gu Ni, one of the highlights of Munato Festival. Fabli Gu Ni is the indigenous people’s traditional practice of fadyan or trade fair. Fabli Gu Ni, running from November 28-30 at the Capitol grounds, includes competitions in Best Dressed Booth, Munato Icon Competition, Best Product Competition (Food and Crafts), Most Innovative Product Competition, Top Seller Municipality Competition and Munato’s Best Traditional Dish Competition.
