Maitum’s ancient jars, nature, adventure on display

ALABEL, Sarangani (November 29, 2013) - Maitum municipality showcases its anthropomorphic jars and crafts. Its booth displays the wonders of its coastal area (pawikan sanctuary and abundant bangsi), as well as its tourism highlighting its breath-taking water tubing adventure. This and six other municipal booths are part of competitions in this year’s Fabli Gu Ni, one of the highlights of Munato Festival. Fabli Gu Ni is the indigenous people’s traditional practice of fadyan or trade fair. Fabli Gu Ni, running from November 28-30 at the Capitol grounds, includes competitions in Best Dressed Booth, Munato Icon Competition, Best Product Competition (Food and Crafts), Most Innovative Product Competition, Top Seller Municipality Competition and Munato’s Best Traditional Dish Competition.
