GLAN, Sarangani (May 18, 2012) - A participant of the 15-kilometer Sarangani Bay Festival swim-across-the-bay swims to the finish line in the beach of barangay Tango Friday, May 18. The 2007 record by Dadiangas Torpedoes of 2:50:15.23 hours remains unbroken in the 15-kilometer swim relay from Maasim to Glan. Dadiangas Torpedoes' time in this morning's 7th Swim-Across-the-Bay is 2:57:40, beating nine other teams in the Philippines' and perhaps Asia's longest open ocean swimming competition.
