Line opens bigger gains for farmers

MALUNGON, Sarangani (September 20, 2013) – At the tramline opening, Mayor Reynaldo Constantino (4^th from right) leads local government officials during the recently held inauguration of the P2.8-million tramline installed by the Department of Agriculture Region 12 in Barangay Datal Batong. This new system will be of big help to increase the earnings of poor farmers, as it reduces the cost of transportation and post-harvest losses of farm produce that are caused by long distance travel via rugged roads.
