GLAN, Sarangani (October 8, 2012) – The Notre Dame of Glan contingent performs during the street dancing competition highlighting the town’s 98th Foundation Anniversary and Lubi-lubi Festival culmination Monday, October 8, at the municipal ground. The group garnered the best in costume and best in accompaniment awards and won 1st Place with a cash prize of P200,000. Lubi-Lubi Festival every 8th of October reflects Glan’s industry and tradition altogether. Lubi-Lubi performers wearing costumes made of coconut materials dance in the streets where Hispanic houses still stand today.
