MAITUM, Sarangani (October 31, 2012) - Mayor Elsie Perrett shows her groovy dancing skills in a surprise dance number with the MSDWO (Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office) staff and Day Care Workers (DCW) Federation officers during the Children's Day celebration at the municipal gymnasium Monday, October 29. "Dahil sa inyong tiyaga ay nakikita namin ang katalinuhan ng batang Maitum", said Mayor Perrett later in her speech as she congratulated the day care workers for putting more effort on educating kids in every barangay of Maitum. The program initiated by the MSWDO and the DCW federation was participated in by over 1,700 day care pupils, parents, DCW members, and employees. The program which showcased various talents and skills of day care pupils coming from every barangay was themed "Bright child ay siguraduhin, responsableng pamamahayag palaganapin".
