MAITUM, Sarangani (April 8, 2013) - Department
of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Sarangani district engineer and current
president of Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers
(PICE) Sarangani province chapter Engr. Fernando Santander formally turns over
the symbolic key of the Philippine Green School building to East District
Principal 1 Annaleah Durangparang at Malalag Central Elementary School Thursday,
April 4. The “Green Engineered School Building” is a national contest by the
PICE participated in by all PICE chapters around the country. Sarangani chapter
won 3rd Place in the Mindanao level with a prize of P300,000 worth of school
building using indigenous materials available in the locality. The winning
design of Malalag Central Elementary School was chosen as recipient of the
