Turnover of check for Malapatan resettlement project

 

GENERAL SANTOS CITY (March 15, 2013) – Malapatan Mayor Alfonso Singcoy (2nd from left) with Sarangani Vice Governor Steve Chiongbian Solon (extreme right) receives a check worth P1.2M from the National Housing Authority (NHA) thru Vice President Jejomar Binay (2nd from right), who is also national chairman of the Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council (HUDCC), while South Cotabato Governor Arthur Pingoy Jr. (center) and General Santos City Administrator Jose Mariano Gonzalez (extreme left) witness Thursday, March 14. The check, which is a portion of the whole amount to be downloaded, is a national grant for the water distribution and drainage system of Juanico Ville, a joint resettlement project of NHA, Governor Migs Dominguez and the municipal government of Malapatan in barangay Lun Padidu.
