ALABEL, Sarangani (July 30, 2013) – Dr. Arvin
Alejandro (right), provincial health officer, and Charito Ansagay of the
Governor’s Office inspect one of the 150 sets of “dignity kits” (in red pails)
that arrived at the Provincial Health Office Monday, July 29. This is a regular
assistance from the United Nations Population Fund which provides basic hygiene
kits for women and girls and helps them restore their dignity during times of
disaster. The kits are intended for those pregnant women who were displaced
during the recent calamity in some areas in the province. For more news and
