GENERAL SANTOS CITY (July 20, 2013) - Governor
Steve Chiongbian Solon (right) fetches Edelberto Guevarra (center) and the
latter's sister, Helen Guevarra (far left), at the General Santos City Airport
Saturday, July 20. Guevarra had gone away from home in Kiamba, Sarangani for
almost four decades. He was able to go back home after his photo was posted on
Facebook by Cheryl Amoloria, a student from Cainta, Rizal. Gov. Solon and the
Kiamba Natives Organization Worldwide, Inc. (KNOW) facilitated Guevarra’s
homecoming with his sister, Helen, who was not also able to see her brothers and
